Chicken Nugget Wrap
I usually make this towards the end of the week when I don’t want to make an unnecessary trip to the grocery store and want to stretch that dollar.
- Chicken nuggets
- Veggies from your refrigerator
- Mesclun leaves/lettuce
- Sircha Chilli Sauce
- Tomato Ketchup
- Low-fat Mayo
- Tortilla Wraps
Lay the Wrap. Spread some mayo. Make nuggets according to packet instructions. Place salad leaves on the wrap, then the shredded nuggets, drizzle some sauce and wrap it up!
Make your own pizza base. It’s very easy to make and it and is a much healthier option!
Here is the recipe I follow. But instead of using only plain flour, I use half wholemeal and half plain and sometimes add some whole wheat (atta flour) too. You can try your own mix. This recipe will give you enough dough for another week so don’t forget to cling-wrap it and put it in the freezer.
Crumbed Chicken Maryland
This is a household favourite and something that requires only 5 min of prep time. Maryland is usually available at a discount every 2 weeks. So watch out for that.
- Chicken Maryland-6
- Rolled Oats-4 tbsp
- Parmesan Cheese-2tbsp
Beat the eggs in a shallow bowl. Place the breadcrumbs, cheese and oats in a plate and give it a toss. Dip the chicken in the egg and then place it in the centre of the plate with the dry ingredients. Use tongs and coat the chicken with the bread crumb mixture. Then place it on a greased tray and put it in the oven for 30-40 minutes until it is cooked through.
